Danny holds several directorships in New Zealand. He is a director of UP Education Limited, the largest private vocational training group in New Zealand and a director of two NZX listed companies, Move Logistics Group Limited and Marlborough Wine Estates Limited. He was a former director of Everbright Pacific Limited, a subsidiary of one of the largest Chinese conglomerates, China Everbright Limited. He was also a director of Airways Corporation Limited, a state-owned air traffic management company and Ag Research Limited, a crown owned scientific research company that specializes in agricultural and biotechnology developments. He was a director of Abano Healthcare Limited, Auckland Tourism, Events and Economic Development Limited and Farmers Mutual Group. A member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of New Zealand and a member of the Cost and Management Association and a Chartered member of the Institute of Directors.
